Waterday the 26th: Back at Underbrow
We arrived back in Underbrow and headed to the Silver Oak, where Marta was waiting for us.

We were making our way back down the stairs and into the central room when I nearly fell into a pit. As we edged around, we find another pit and two jellies across it.
When we got the landslide we found it had revealed an ominous doorway in the side of a cliff. We also found Sprune 20 or so feet away sketching the doorway on an easel in front of his shelter.
After breakfast I visited Rotchett and Finn and asked them to convert my Temple robes into a riding cloak. They agree, and it will be ready in a couple of days.
At breakfast Grun spoke to Vayne about the Hartess Family mine that shut down suddenly. She told us that mine is about an hour’s walk from the Northwest gate, quite isolated from the town. Most of the carts and traffic to and from the mine used to go via the Northeast gate, as the Northwest gate is in the more affluent area of town.
At breakfast, Vayne introduced us to her sister, Avery. Avery is almost identical to Vayne, and they sat down with us and told us that their family used to be wealthy a few generations ago and into artworks. They would commission portraits but over time their fortunes waned and they had to sell the portraits until they only had one left.
At breakfast (which was amazing after three days of travelling rations) Pennich visited and gave us our club cards for the Westford Trading Company. These turned out to be mini actual clubs!
As we approached Underbrow-on-Grime, we were stopped at a bridge by group of bandits, led Danyl.
We continued the journey to Underbrow-on-Grime, which was uneventful up until lunchtime, when we encountered two Hippogriffs.
During breakfast, we met with Pennich and agreed to leave for Underbrow-on-Grime this morning.
This morning we met Pennich, a trader for the Westford Trading Company. We have agreed to escort him on his journey to Underbrow-on-Grime in return for an introduction to Westford. We leave in the morning.
Last night happened extremely quickly. Almost as soon as dusk fell three large otherworldly hounds fell upon the house. Together we managed to fight them off, with Tooms raining down a huge storm of thorns from his tree, but as the last one feel we heard a scream from the house - Athon had been knocked unconscious and Henry had been taken out through the side door and into the forest.
My two new companions, Tooms and Grun, and I have arrived at Beechburton. We have heard of a family in trouble and have come to offer assistance, hopefully for a large reward! Beechburton is small, almost not here. There can’t be more than a hundred people living here.
